5.7 Hemi runs rough only after idle. I have a 2007 with the 5.7 Hemi and it runs terribly rough after idling for about 10 minutes. The longer it idles, the worse it runs. Then it cuts out off and on quickly hardcore (just as if it’s a loose ignition wire). It doesn’t matter if I’m accelerating either mildly, moderate or wot, it cuts out

My 06 WK with the Hemi seems to pull the heavier trailer quite a bit easier. In my experience, both were about 18-20 mpg on the freeway at 65 mph unloaded, but my 5.7 WK only does about 13 mpg in the city, where the 4.7 in the Dak did about 15 or 16 mpg; negligible IMO.
